Digital Content & Distribution Coordinator
About the role
We are launching a globally distributed, bilingual (English/Spanish) magazine in partnership with a Rotary Club in Newport Beach, California. The magazine covers environmental stewardship, ocean conservation, climate action, and community service worldwide — publishing two coordinated editions starting July 2026.
We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Digital Content & Distribution Coordinator to manage how the magazine reaches its readers every month. This is a part-time, hourly, remote role based in the Philippines.
COMPENSATION: $4–$6 per hour depending on experience. Hours tracked and paid weekly. Estimated 10–20 hours per week.
What You Will Do
Prepare and format the magazine's digital edition for email distribution using Mailchimp or a similar platform Upload and publish each issue to a digital magazine platform (Issuu, Flipsnack, or similar) Manage and grow the subscriber list — segmenting audiences between the US/Americas edition and the Global edition Design and send promotional email s and issue announcement campaigns Track and report performance analytics: open rates, click-throughs, subscriber growth, and geographic reach Schedule and publish social media posts promoting each issue (Instagram, Facebook , LinkedIn) Write short-form social captions in the magazine's editorial voice Support the editorial team with content formatting and file organization
You Are
Organized and reliable with recurring digital workflows Comfortable with email marketing platforms and digital publishing tools A clear writer in English for social captions and email copy Curious about analytics — you like reading numbers and turning them into insights Self-directed with minimal need for supervision
Requirements
Solid written English for social and email copy 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or email marketing Hands-on experience with at least one email marketing platform (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Beehiiv, or similar) Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools Proficiency with Google Workspace Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated work environment
Preferred
Experience with Issuu, Flipsnack, or similar digital publishing platforms graphic design skills in Canva Familiarity with Google Analytics Experience with AI writing tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for caption and copy assistance
