About the role
DUTIES:
-
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes with quality standard

assist with food preparation tasks

set up stations with all necessary supplies
-
ensure food is stored properly and at the correct temperatures
-
follow proper food handling and saftey procedures
-
clean and maintain work areas, equipment and dish
-
collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
-
clean kitchen and prepare foods in down times
REQUIRMENTS:
-
must be able to make home-made soups with out guidence
-
food safe a must
-
previous experience as a line cook/prep cook
-
be able to work independently in a fast paced enviroment
-
multi tasking without supervision
-
following in house recipes
-
strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
-
ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner and presented well
-
opening and closing duties
-
maintain proper sanitizaton at all times: before, during and after meal preparing
-
must be willing to work all shifts:
..weekend shifts day/evening
