Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager of Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the programs and developing an effective learning environment for students.
Program Details
We require faculty qualified to teach across the following areas:
Aviation Technician – Maintenance Aviation Technician – Avionics Aviation Technician – Structures
What You’ll Bring
Licensed Aviation Technician: M, E or S – Maintenance, Avionics or Structures Excellent communication, team building and leadership and computer skills are expected Prior teaching experience in an academic setting is an asset Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success Excellent communicator Strong interpersonal skills Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required Teaching experience with face-to face and online delivery preferred Related industry work experience, previous College or Apprenticeship teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
