Position #: 9001178 Expected Start Date: To Be Determined; Posted Until Filled Union: HSAS Facility: Rosetown Health Centre City/Town: Rosetown Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.75 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Hours of Work: 21 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: No Job Description: Reporting to the Manager or designate for the area of province they are working, the Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non-emergency events, and provides assessment, treatment and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations; Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols; The Paramedics Act and bylaws; and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policies, procedures and work standards.
