Analysis of the role Canada plays in international development and globalization.The course will examine government development institutions and policy, the private sector and civil society organizations. Candidates must submit a one-to-two page proposal on an important topic, outlining how they would teach this course (theme, content, literature, pedagogy). This course is part of the In-Depth Experiential Learning Stream (IELS). Experience in this area would be considered an asset. Please note that a minimum of 60% of the student's final grade will be allocated to experiential learning activities.
