About the role

- Salary: $19.05 per hour
- Reporting to: Facility Operations Supervisor
- Location: Kelowna Family Y
- Schedule: Part-time evening/night shifts (starting as late as 9:00 PM)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Night Cleaning Attendant, you will ensure the facility meets high standards of cleanliness and safety:
- Maintain and clean all public and staff areas after-hours
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks and general upkeep
- Work both independently and collaboratively with team members
- Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and managers
- Interact with members to address inquiries and forward requests
- Organize tasks efficiently to meet shift expectations
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming, high-quality facility environment
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience in cleaning or a related field
- OFA Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to communicate effectively (spoken, written, and reading English)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Provide three professional references
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search (within 6 months of start date)
