The Role We are currently searching for Warehouse Workers for afternoon vacancies at our Barrie Cross Dock. These vacancies are part-time opportunities to join a dynamic team and help make sure every order gets out the door perfectly. You’ll be part of a team that values accuracy, safety, and a little fun along the way.Location On-site at the Barrie Cross Dock.What You'll Be Doing
Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product
Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred Experience Must be 18 years of age or older Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required Skills Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift Demonstrated reliability and dependability The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role Above average communication and interpersonal skills Compensation Starting wage is $17.95/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.Equal Opportunity Employer We are committed to providing a respectful and empowering workplace that values our greatest resource, our people.
