Are you excited about electronics and have a passion for people? This may be the position you have been looking for! Join the team at Shorelines Peterborough in creating great experiences and memories as a Part-Time Slot Technician! 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains and repairs gaming-related units such as automated card shufflers, Cage equipment 

  • Responsible for mechanical and electronic repairs at the circuit board level 

  • Keep the excitement on the gaming floor by assisting with theme conversions and slot machine moves. 

  • Monitors floor activity and machine performance to ensure proper game operation and provide guest service by responding to guest enquiries and issues 

 

The successful candidate will possess: 

  • A Secondary School diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education with a background in electronics. 

  • 1+ years’ hands on working experience in a Slot Operations or Electronics area. 

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication skills. 

  • An ability to work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a high-volume, fast paced, shift work environment. 

  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario 

 

Since the fun never stops at Shorelines, candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights, based on business needs.
