Duties

• Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client's preferences.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional recommendations.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety and satisfaction.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care and styling items to enhance client experience.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
• Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education and training.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a hairstylist or in a similar customer service role within the beauty industry.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their desired outcomes.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures relevant to salon environments.
• Ability to perform retail upselling effectively while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Experience with front desk operations, including appointment booking and cash handling, is preferred.
• A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
