The site includes patient service areas, laboratories, administrative offices, and secure storage for sensitive medical materials. With regular activity from staff, patients, and service providers, the facility requires controlled access, strict adherence to safety and health protocols, and organized operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a safe environment for both employees and visitors.

Position: Security Guard

Site: Dynacare

Site Address: 245 Pall Mall Street, London, ON, N6A 1P4

Status: Part Time

Shifts: Monday - Wednesday (11pm-6am)

Pay Rate: $18.54/hour

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement - calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly

Essential Job Functions:

• Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites, patrol assigned areas to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed
• Maintain written reports
• Perform security checks and liaise with client staff
• Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration.
• Watch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire and/or ambulance personnel, as required

Requirements:

• Must possess Ontario Security Guard License
• First Aid & CPR – Emergency Level
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
