About the role
Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. As a highly collegial and collaborative team player, you will support teachers in their delivery of International Baccalaureate (IB) units that incorporate the BC curriculum. What You’ll Bring
You will bring strong experience as a teacher or teaching assistant, with a solid foundation in supporting literacy and numeracy learning at the elementary level. A reflective and student-centred professional, you value inquiry-based and differentiated approaches, fostering curiosity, confidence and a love of learning in every child. You recognize the importance of social-emotional learning and intentionally support students in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, positive relationships, and a strong sense of belonging. You collaborate closely with teachers and colleagues to support engaging, inclusive learning experiences that deepen understanding while nurturing student well-being. Flexible, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous professional growth, you contribute to a vibrant learning environment where every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
