About bare bum™ bare bum™ by Bare Brands Inc. is a premium, eco-conscious baby care brand launching in Canada in 2026, with plans for expansion into the United States and Europe. Our mission is to redefine baby hygiene through cleaner, more thoughtful products that prioritize both human and environmental health. Our flagship innovation combines a microbiome-supportive, prebiotic-infused cleansing spray with plant-derived dry wipes and reusable cloth wipes - a cleaner, more sophisticated alternative to traditional wet wipes. bare bum™ sits at the intersection of several high-growth consumer trends: premium baby care, clean beauty, eco-conscious innovation, and microbiome-focused wellness. This is a rare opportunity to help build a category-defining brand from the ground up.

The Role We are looking for a motivated, creative marketing student to join our founding team as a part-time Marketing Intern for Summer 2026 (with potential to extend beyond, if desired). You will work directly with the founder and own real deliverables across nearly every dimension of a consumer brand launch - from social media and influencer marketing to e-commerce and retail strategy. This is not a coffee-and-slides internship. You will contribute meaningfully to launch activities, build portfolio-worthy work that goes live in market, and gain hands-on exposure to what it actually takes to build and scale a consumer brand.

Responsibilities Social media strategy, content creation, and channel management (Instagram and TikTok) Micro-influencer research, outreach, and relationship building Klaviyo email marketing setup and welcome flow development Shopify website and product page optimization PR and media list development with initial outreach support Competitive research and brand strategy projects Boutique and online retailer research and outreach Additional involvement in product development, vendor relationships, or growth strategy based on interest

Ideal Candidate Third, fourth-year or graduate student in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related program. Marketing and Social Media focus preferred. Hands-on experience with Instagram and/or TikTok content creation Strong eye for premium branding, design, and visual storytelling Genuine interest in sustainability, clean consumer products, and/or the parenting space Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Excited by the opportunity to work closely with a founder at the earliest stage of a brand

Position Details Hours: 15-20 hrs/week (flexible) Duration: 8-12 weeks, Summer 2026 (Fall continuation possible) Total commitment: ~150-200 hours (potential to expand hours in order to meet internship requirements) Location: Primarily remote; occasional in-person meetings if Calgary-based Compensation $16-19/hr, commensurate with experience
