Reporting to the Winnipeg Assistant Director of Children’s disABILITY Services the Resource Assistant will support a variety of staff in the Children's disABILITY Services program.
Duties:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Resource Assistant, as a member of the service team provides support services to the Community Service Worker (CSW), the finance team, Program Manager, and/or the Assistant Director, in the performance of their responsibilities. The Resource Assistant provides a variety of support services directly and indirectly to children, adults and their families within the mandate of any or all community programs.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience performing clerical and administrative duties.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to handle a large volume of work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work with a diverse range of individuals and service providers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar software applications.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to problem solve.
