Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders while ensuring proper food handling and safety standards are met.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
• Sanitate tables, utensils, and service areas to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health regulations.
• Help guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special dietary needs.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Process payments accurately while following restaurant procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in working in a Japanese restaurant is required.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
