Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants for our Ottawa, ON Location. Your Role You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence You can provide outstanding customer service You have excellent communication skills Your Profile You must possess the following qualifications: You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification (please note, we provide training for First Responder if needed) You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note, we provide BLS training if needed) You possess a valid G class driving license. You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner. You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English. You are a safe driver with a clean driving record You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month. You are comfortable with 12hrs shifts You have night and weekend availability if requested. Your Location Parkout is located in Ottawa so you will want to live nearby.
