Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prescription filling processes.
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment and computer systems.
  • Strong listening and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and pharmacy staff.
  • Ability to read and understand product labels and shelf tags accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and order entry platforms.
  • Fluency in a second language relevant to the local community.
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform checker duties by verifying prescription details and ensuring accuracy before final dispensing.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with order entry and receipt of supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Utilize a second language, when applicable, to assist a diverse customer base and improve communication.
