About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join the team at the Vernon location as a Cashier and possibly moving to a Key holder position in the future.
This job is not suitable for Students.
We are looking for the candidate to work a part time position (8 - 10 hours per week), Shifts include afternoons/evening and all weekends. Must be available during these times.
The hours at location are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*-*working well with other staff to create a good customer service environment.
-efficient on a POS system and a good knowledge of customer service.

Overseeing staff to ensure daily, weekly, monthly tasks are being completed in the Store Manager?s absence.

Monitor the activities of the store employees to maximize efficiency, minimize errors and respond to customer needs in a timely fashion

Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with company policy and procedures

Manage backroom stock and ensure adequate inventory levels on the sales floor
Knowledge requirements, skills and/or abilities:

Key holder or Management experience of 2-5 years a must

Strong organization and communication skills

Ability to lift boxes from 20 to 45 lbs and comfortable with use of ladders on sales floor and stock room

Ability to delegate daily task lists for staff and ensure completion of duties and responsibilities

A willingness to grow your leadership skills
Pay: $17.85-$25.95 per hour
