Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager of Dietary Services or designate, performs general food service delivery and clean up functions. Performs cashier functions occasionally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sets up food for special functions, meetings, salad bar and cafeteria buffet.
- Serves cafeteria buffet.
- Provides table service for sit down meal functions.
- Prepares coffee and tea for special functions and cafeteria buffet.
- Delivers food, beverages, napkins, plates and other supplies to special functions and meetings.
- Picks up dishes after special functions.
- Fills, operates and unloads dish machine.
- Washes pots and other dishes.
- Acts as cashier on a relief basis.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Grade 12 in the Province of Ontario or equivalent.
- Ability to speak, write and understand English.
- Completion of or enrolled in an accredited Food Service Workers Certificate.
- Experience in the hospitality or restaurant setting preferred.
- Physically capable of performing all duties as required, including heavy lifting.
Compensation & Other Information:
Start: $25.88.
2080 Hrs/1 Year Rate: $26.96.

This posting is arranged to be fully in-person and is located at the Top of the Hall Cafe in City Hall, London, ON.
