Our restaurant client is seeking a talented and adaptable Digital Designer to join a dynamic team on a temporary, ad-hoc basis (with the eventual potential for a permanent conversion for local candidates only).

This is a remote role – candidates local to Toronto preferred. Approx. 5-10 hours per week depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

Design engaging email marketing campaigns using user-friendly platforms. Create compelling social media graphics and visual content for various channels. Develop print collateral and other special project designs as needed. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent aesthetic. Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, often with quick turnaround times. Adapt design solutions based on feedback and evolving project needs.

Qualifications

Mid-level experience (3-5 years) in digital and graphic design. Strong portfolio showcasing advanced design skills across digital and print mediums. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with email design platforms (drag-and-drop functionality). Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage inconsistent project volumes. Demonstrated understanding of designing for a specific regional market, preferably Ontario. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project scopes. Willingness to consider an on-site role if the position transitions to permanent.
