Job Description:
Resort cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all indoor spaces across the resort. The ideal candidate is energetic, tidy, organized, a team player, positive, flexible, self-motivated, and reliable.
Duties:
- Ensure public indoor areas are clean throughout the resort & casino.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of public washrooms.
- Replenish supplies for room attendant carts/closets and process laundry.
- Wash windows (inside).
- Clean floors and shampoo carpets.
- Deliver items to guest rooms when needed.
- Occasionally assist with cleaning rooms.
- Transport shipments from the loading bay.
- Occasionally assist guests with their luggage.
Room Attendant
Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms. You will also address clients' queries and ensure our rooms are fully stocked, clean, and inviting at all times. Room attendants will ensure all guest rooms are ready for the next guests to arrive. This position requires bending, kneeling, lifting, pulling, reaching, and repetitive arm movements.
Duties:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to stand for long periods.
- Vacuuming and mopping of various types of floors.
- Dusting all surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms.
- Stripping beds and putting all dirty laundry in the laundry cart, then ensuring the cart is returned to the basement.
- Demonstrate a high level of Guest Focus by striving for high guest satisfaction, going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant, and making it as easy as possible for our guests.
- Demonstrate ability to follow instructions, maintain appropriate appearance, comply with team Member policies and procedures, and be willing to learn.
- Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team by being helpful, respectful, approachable, and team-oriented, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Be responsible, honest, loyal, interact with others tactfully, resolve conflicts appropriately, and adapt to change when necessary.
Qualifications:

- Ability to follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with and maintaining commercial cleaning equipment, an asset.
- Must be 19 years of age to work in the Casino
Conditions of Employment: Must be able to bend, crouch, lift, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required. The nature of a 24/7 industry calls upon Resort Cleaners to cover a range of shifts, including, but not limited to, regular evening and weekend work, as well as holidays. Resort Cleaner shift: Sunday-Saturday. Shifts can range from 3:00 PM- 11:00 PM - 4:00 PM- 1:00 AM. Room Attendant shifts 2 - 3 days per week, 9 AM- 5 PM. This is a Union position; Additionally, obtaining a Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) tag is required. Applicants must be at least 19 years old to work in the casino. 24-32 Hours a Week
