Start Time and Duration**:** Classes January 4 2027- April 7 2027 on Tuesdays 12:30-2:20PM and Thursdays 12:30-1:20PM. Exam Period: April 9 2027- April 22 2027

Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

This course will examine the spirituality based knowledge of Indigenous peoples across North America. The philosophies, world view, sacred ways of knowing and relationship to the natural world will be explored.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Master’s degree in relevant field and experience teaching at the university level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrate knowledge of and sensitivity to the values of Indigenous people’s cultural traditions and spirituality.

  • *Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement.**The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount.*If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
