Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for driving revenue growth by converting prospective students and corporate training leads into fully enrolled participants. This is a sales-focused role that requires proactive lead management, outbound sales activity, and strong written and verbal communication to move prospects through the sales funnel and close enrollments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, respond to, and convert inbound registration (sales) inquiries into fully enrolled students, including both self-sponsored individuals and those supported through employer tuition reimbursement.
- Proactively engage prospects through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to move leads through the sales funnel and drive enrollment.
- Communicate effectively in written format (email, CRM, and marketing follow-ups) to respond to inquiries, nurture leads, address objections, and guide prospects toward registration.
- Build relationships with prospective students and corporate clients by understanding their goals and aligning program offerings to their needs.
- Provide detailed program information and guidance on technical training offerings, including T9 programs and micro-credentials (Electronics, Electromechanical, PLC, PLC II, Solar PV, Wind Turbine, EV, Robotics and Automation).
- Identify and develop opportunities for group or corporate training by engaging with employer-sponsored prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Address and overcome prospect objections, including questions related to cost, accreditation, delivery format, and competitive comparisons.
- Track, manage, and maintain accurate prospect and student records, activities, and follow-ups within the CRM system (Maximizer).
- Facilitate the registration process by collecting and processing required documentation and information.
- Resolve routine student concerns related to courses, virtual classrooms, or program delivery.
- Advise students on college and departmental policies, procedures, and program expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum three-year diploma or equivalent in a related technical subject area and/or three-year diploma or equivalent in business or marketing.
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience preferably in a corporate training/adult education environment.
- Must have experience calling on managers, training directors, and/or human resources administrators.
- Experience in a fast-paced, call center environment is required.
- Must be energetic, articulate and 100% fluent in English. Fluency in a second language is preferred but not essential.
- Experience working with CRM systems and tracking performance metrics, with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.

- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive emails and follow-ups that drive engagement and conversion.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline, prioritize leads, and maintain consistent follow-up.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and close, with confidence in handling objections and guiding prospects to a decision.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and establish trust with both individual prospects and corporate clients.
- Excellent collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills at a professional level.
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold the Polytechnic’s priorities on diversity and equity.
