About the role
Description: Greater Montreal Area. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Events Coordinator to join our team on a commission-based structure.
Responsibilities:
Event Seaking: Proactively identify and cold call potential event venues and organizers, including: Places of worship (e.g., temples, churches, synagogues, mosques, community events, bazaars), Schools (e.g., school fairs, graduation parties, sports events), Festivals (e.g., local community festivals, music festivals, food festivals), Corporate events, private parties, and other gatherings.
Developing guest relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with event planners, venue managers, and community leaders to secure recurring business and referrals. Understand the client's needs in order to make their vision come to life.
Stay informed: Stay informed about local event trends, upcoming opportunities, and competitor activities to identify new avenues for growth.
Compensation: This is a commission-based role with the potential to earn up to 5% -10% commission on all secured event bookings. Your earning potential is directly tied to your success in bringing in new business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or event coordination, with a strong track record of cold calling and lead generation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate our unique cotton candy offerings effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as required by event schedules and client needs.
- Passion for creating enjoyable experiences and a positive attitude.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
