Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort for our clients. The HVAC Technician will work in various settings, including residential and commercial environments, and must be able to read and interpret schematics effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, including electrical components, refrigerant levels, and airflow problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.

Experience

• Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, plumb, boil, weld, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
• Experience in appliance repair is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
