Role Description The Content Coordinator is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the planning, creation, and publishing of digital content across Indigenous Energy Monitor’s platforms. This role coordinates content calendars, organizes and updates web pages, and ensures that materials align with organizational priorities and key initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing web copy, preparing summaries of research or reports for online audiences, and collaborating with team members to maintain a consistent tone and style. The Content Coordinator will also help optimize content for clarity and engagement, monitor basic performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvements in content workflows and documentation.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences. Candidates should possess Content Management skills, such as organizing digital assets, maintaining content libraries, and updating website or platform content. Candidates should possess Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to create concise, accurate, and engaging copy for online readers. Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills, including understanding content goals, audience needs, and how to align messaging with organizational objectives. Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with Indigenous issues and perspectives in Canada, experience working with data or research summaries, basic knowledge of SEO or analytics tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
