Your unique perspective, transferable skills, and lived experience may be exactly what we’re looking for. ** Job Description As a Coordinator, Ticketing Communications, you will be part of a dynamic group supporting MLSE’s Ticketing initiatives through communications channels, primarily email campaigns. Reporting to the Manager, Engagement & Secondary, you will assist in the development of campaigns for all MLSE brands (Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC, Argos, Marlies, Raptors 905 and LIVE) across a variety of functions, including Membership, Sales, Suites, Commercialization, and more. In this part-time role (32 hours per week), you will work with internal stakeholders and external partners to contribute to Ticketing objectives. Supporting the overall Ticket Sales & Service communications portfolio by contributing to the end-to-end email campaign process Assisting the team with project coordination as needed including project briefing, revision, approval, QA and deployment Liaising with agency partner and internal stakeholders to facilitate the development of campaigns Monitoring projects to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to best practice Tracking project status, providing regular updates and ensuring timely delivery Developing engaging copy based on audience and conveying messaging clearly and succinctly Providing creative direction for asset development to support captivating storytelling Managing large sets of data securely and with accuracy Conducting quality assurance to ensure campaigns are error-free in copy, imagery, links, and data Supporting with other multi-channel campaigns as needed, including mobile app platform management and push notifications Qualifications 1-2 years’ experience working in a digital communications or marketing capacity, either agency or in-house. Proficient in MS Excel and able to manipulate large sets of data using formulas Strong copywriting skills for digital platforms (email, blog, social media, app, ads, etc.) Meticulous attention to detail (grammar, typos, fact-checking) with the ability to produce error-free work Understanding of design principles for digital platforms and email marketing best practices Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment Curiosity and growth mindset with a desire to elevate and optimize existing output Passionate about the sports and entertainment business with a desire to learn about the industry Post-secondary education in communications, sports business, media or related discipline Basic understanding of the NHL, NBA, MLS, and CFL landscapes in an asset Agency experience is an asset Knowledge of email marketing platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Conversions.) is an asset.
