Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to work with Grade 12 student in Abbotsford BC, in a home education context. This position is in person for 6 hours per week .

Rate per hour: $23 to $29

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Educational Assistant Certificate/Behaviour Intervention training is an asset but not required Experience supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools and strategies, as well as emotional regulation supports, is an asset but not required. Experience using TouchChat is considered an asset. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning environment. Ability to reliably travel to and work at the student’s home-based learning location.
