Description of the delivery mode (Bimodal): This approach is a combination of two distinct real-time (synchronous) teaching spaces. One physical space in a classroom on campus where a professor is there with a reduced number of students, and a second virtual space using a videoconferencing technology (Zoom or MS Teams) for students who choose to take the course remotely.

Course description: Conflict resolution approaches and institutions created over time in different regions of the world. Traditional dispute resolution mechanisms. State and law. Democratic institutions. Third party involvement and promotion of peace.
Required experience and qualifications:

A doctorate or equivalent training in the discipline or a related field.

Expertise in approaches to and institutions for conflict resolution across multiple regions of the world, from a historical perspective; institutional, state-based, and traditional mechanisms; the role of the state, law, and non-state actors in conflict resolution and the promotion of peace

Passive proficiency in the second official language

Sensitivity to multiple differences (including abilities, genders, and cultures) and to students' concerns.

Proficiency with both in-person and online learning tools
