Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Gas Bar Attendant to join our Team on a part-time basis working up to 24 hours per week at our location in Vermilion, AB . Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Engage with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale system and processing customer transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout all components of the gas bar; inside the store, while pumping fuel and filling propane.
• Follow all regulations and distribution laws around lottery and tobacco.
• Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, and displaying product.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
• Process returns transactions efficiently.
• Maintain checkout operations by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping inside and outside the store.
• Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures.
• Demonstrate behaviours that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and focus on safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have Grade 12 education or equivalent retail and/or customer-service experience.
• You can lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
