Job description: We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention.

Responsibilities Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain the security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents; assess situations and take appropriate action as necessary. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations related to security breaches or incidents. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.

Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is a plus. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times. Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
