Role Description The Administrative Assistant role is a part-time, remote position supporting the smooth operation of Indigenous Energy Monitor’s daily activities. Responsibilities include managing calendars and scheduling meetings, organizing digital files and documents, and assisting with correspondence by email and phone. The role also involves preparing basic reports, updating records, supporting executive administrative tasks, and coordinating logistics for virtual meetings or events. The Administrative Assistant will help maintain clear communication among team members and external partners, ensure timely follow-up on administrative requests, and contribute to an organized and efficient workflow. This position requires a professional, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently and collaborating virtually.

Qualifications Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, document management, and record keeping. Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and respectfully with diverse stakeholders. Experience providing Executive Administrative Assistance, such as calendar management and meeting coordination. Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets, and cloud-based file systems). Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Interest in or familiarity with Indigenous communities, energy, or resource sectors is an asset. Previous experience in an administrative or support role and relevant post-secondary education or training are preferred.
