Overview Our independently owned Pharmasave pharmacy, located at Oak Street and West 15th Avenue in Vancouver, is seeking a dependable Assistant Store Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. We serve a welcoming local community and pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and friendly environment. You will play a crucial role in supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations.
• Supervise and support retail staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and conducting inventory counts.
• Ensure merchandising standards are met, including product displays and pricing accuracy.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Operate the cash register and oversee cash handling procedures.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing time-off requests.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacist and healthcare team to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of retail experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Pharmacy experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient with computers and retail management software.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move merchandise as required.
• Must notify the Store Manager of any health issues that may affect job performance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
