Esquimalt Return-It Depot is a small business in Esquimalt. We are fast-paced and customer-centric. We have part time positions available. Part time position 1 : 29 hours a week Sunday-Thursday. Part time position 2: 20hours Wednesday-Saturday. Wage will go up after 3 months depending on skill and work ethic.

Customer Service Associate / Cashier

Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-return (POR) system
• Handle cash, count bottle returns accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized point of return area
• Assist customers with questions and guide them to correct areas
• Utilize effective communication to simplify return process for customers
• Keep busy during downtime, maintaining cleanliness
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls

Skills:

• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of POR systems and cash handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
• Ability to effectively communicate what is acceptable for drop off and where it goes.
