Voyage Couples Therapy is seeking a compassionate and relational Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our growing team as a Child & Family Therapist. We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working with children, adolescents, parents, and families, and who is passionate about supporting healthy relationships within the family system. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in child and family therapy who is interested in being part of a collaborative, relationship-focused practice. Experience working with couples is considered an asset but is not required.

While the majority of our referrals are couples, we also support children, teens, adults, and families navigating parenting challenges, family conflict, emotional regulation, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a therapist with experience supporting: Children and adolescents Parents and caregivers Family relationships and conflict Parenting challenges Anxiety, emotional regulation, and behavioural concerns Life transitions Trauma and attachment concerns Experience providing parent coaching, family therapy, or child psychotherapy is highly valued. An interest in supporting couples within a relational practice is considered an asset.
Minimum Qualifications Applicants must: Hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related mental health discipline. Be a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Have completed their Master’s degree. RP (Qualifying), students, and practicum applicants will not be considered for this position. Carry professional liability insurance. Have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with children, youth, and/or families. Demonstrate strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and case conceptualization skills. Be available for a minimum of 2 in-person shifts per week, including evenings and/or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to clinicians with training or experience in: Family Systems Therapy Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) Play Therapy Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Internal Family Systems (IFS) Attachment-Based Therapy Trauma-informed approaches Parent Coaching Couples Therapy (EFT, Gottman, etc.)
Responsibilities As part of our clinical team, you will: Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, parents, and families. Conduct complimentary Meet & Greet consultations and support clients through the intake process. Build and maintain a consistent clinical caseload. Complete clinical documentation in accordance with CRPO/OCSWSSW standards. Collaborate with the administrative and clinical leadership teams regarding client care and scheduling. Participate in consultation and ongoing professional development. Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and shift commitment.
