Course description: National and international policies and programs designed to eliminate the causes of violent conflict and prevent their re-emergence. Dialogue and reconciliation. Political and economic reforms. Local development and empowerment.

Required experience and qualifications:

• A doctorate or equivalent training in the discipline or a related field. 
•  Expertise in peace processes, different forms of peace, and national and international policies and practices for sustainable peace; 
• Expertise in dialogue, reconciliation, and social development aimed at achieving sustainable peace and preventing conflict; 
• Practical experience in peace processes would be an asset
• Passive proficiency in the second official language
• Sensitivity to multiple differences (including abilities, genders, and cultures) and to students' concerns.
• Proficiency with both in-person and online learning tools
