Position?s Main Duties: Delivers prescription and non-prescription items to nursing homes, retirement homes, patient homes, and between stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow delivery routes, using the Mobilus app, to ensure the efficient delivery of items to long-term care, retirement homes, patient homes and between stores.

· Choose time-efficient routes

· Ensuring security of delivery vehicle at all times and parking of vehicle at designated area at end of every shift

· Ensuring that all traffic laws and posted speed limits are obeyed and a courteous driving attitude is maintained

· Communicate any issues with Delivery Supervisor when necessary

· Any other duties as required

CUSTOMER SERVICE

· Offer friendly, efficient and courteous customer service during each customer transaction; ensuring superior customer service at all times

· Maintaining a professional appearance and wearing the accepted uniform when making all deliveries and carrying the necessary I.D. for our customer?s safety and peace of mind

KEY COMPETENCIES

· Superior oral communication skills; ability to interact and build rapport with customers and business partners

· Strong organizational skills; ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent telephone manner; ability to use cellular phone and GPS equipment; ability to navigation apps on cell phone

· Attention to detail and accuracy i.e.: verifying documentation

· Safe driving record; ability to provide clean driver?s abstract

· Excellent knowledge of the roads in Haldimand- Norfolk, Tillsonburg, and Hamilton.

· Ability to access and use email, various software programs with training

REQUIREMENTS

· Valid Driver?s license
