Summary: The Pharmacy Assistant will be an active member of the pharmacy team in supporting pharmacy activities providing excellent patient care. This position is part-time but may be switched to full-time based on performance and organizational needs.

*Location: *Unit 2- 14872 Yonge Street, Aurora, ON

Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions (including: prescription order entry, 3rd party payor adjudication and troubleshooting, correct selection of generic medication, blister packaging etc.)
• Support pharmacists and clinic team to deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain inventory control and other administrative functions
• Provide customer service in a pleasant and efficient manner

Requirements:

• Min of 1 year of community pharmacy experience preferred
• Available to work weekends and evenings
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge in Kroll Computer System an asset
• Willingness to learn

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
