Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client results and increase sales opportunities
• Educate clients on hair care routines and product usage to promote ongoing maintenance at home
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques through continuous learning and professional development

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships
• Experience in retail sales is preferred
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by skilled trades Ontario regulations
