Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper for Days Inn Taber. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
• Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
