About the role
Oulton College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Microbiology, including associated laboratory components, within our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. This is a part-time teaching opportunity requiring approximately six hours per week. Classes are delivered in person at Oulton College in Moncton, New Brunswick campus; therefore, candidates must be able to teach on site.
Key Responsibilities Teach Microbiology and associated laboratory components. Prepare and deliver lectures, laboratory activities, assessments, and learning materials. Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback. Maintain accurate academic records and uphold academic standards. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements Qualifications Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field such as Microbiology, Biology, or Health Sciences. Candidates nearing completion of their Master’s degree are encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of microbiology. Relevant teaching, research, laboratory, healthcare, or industry experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage and support students in a post-secondary learning environment. Applicants are not required to have a Nursing background.
