Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to work in Sioux Lookout Ontario Canada to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and custodial services, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
• Handle lifting of supplies or equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas according to established standards
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or issues
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
• Take photos when work is completed and to communicate when starting and finishing work day.

Experience

• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving interaction with clients or building occupants
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently while completing multiple cleaning assignments
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
