Part-Time Home Support Worker

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Home Support Workers to join our growing team. This role primarily involves residential cleaning and maintaining safe, comfortable living environments, while also providing basic home support and assistance to individuals in their homes and communities.

This position is best suited for individuals who are adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a variety of home environments and situations with professionalism and compassion.

Wage: $23?$31 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Type: Part-time, with the opportunity to lead to full-time hours

Benefits: Health benefits available after 3 months of employment

Qualifications & Assets

Experience is preferred but not mandatory. The following education or backgrounds are considered strong assets:

• Social Service Diploma
• Community Mental Health & Addictions
• Social Work
• Related human services experience

Requirements

• Valid driver?s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region (Malahat to Qualicum)
• Must pass criminal record check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach
• Understanding and respect for diverse cultural environments
• Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging or high-needs environments
