Our team at South Surrey Smiles is looking for a part-time reliable and detail-oriented Licensed Dental Assistant (formerly referred to as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in British Columbia) to join our well-established practice in Surrey, British Columbia. How You’ll Make An Impact Maintain and organize patient records to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Assist with taking and organizing patient records, photos, and other clinical documentation as required. Maintain an organized and efficient records area. Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Monitor sterilization processes and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sterilization area. Assist the clinical team with general duties as needed. Restock clinical supplies and communicate when supplies need to be ordered. Follow all infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the clinic. Perform other tasks as required.. The Teammate We’re Looking For Must hold current licensing/registration required to practice as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) (formerly referred to as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in British Columbia).
