Hiring Unit: Faculty of Law Course Number: LAWG 561 Course Title: Privacy Law Course Credits: 3 1 Instructor Term: Winter 2027 Course Schedule: Monday/Wednesday 1435-1555 (Student Affairs Office will contact you if there is a change to the date/time) Location: Chancellor Day Hall Course Description: Overview of the rapidly-growing area of information privacy law with a focus on the digital environment, including domestic and international regulations, case law, legislation, and recent public policy developments pertaining to the collection, storage, and dissemination of personal information. Three kinds of relationships: among individuals, between individuals and companies, and between individuals and the State. TQR: At a minimum, a first degree in law. Several years of significant practice or professional experience, in the relevant area; Experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual setting The University may, at its discretion, assign the person of choice to give this Course/Teaching.
