Description Our Dishwashers/Prep play an important role in keeping the Nest’s back-of-house operations running smoothly. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen by keeping dishes, equipment, and work areas clean and ready for use. We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people who work efficiently, pay attention to detail, and take pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is not required. We’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed. Availability The ideal candidates have open availability Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am – 7pm. Compensation The starting wage for this position is $17.00 per hour, but is negotiable based on experience. Working Conditions: Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, hot, and humid environment. Can stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry heavy items. Qualifications / Required Skills / Considerations Previous dishwashing experience is an asset, but not required. Additional training that is considered an asset (not required): ProServe, ProTect, Standard First Aid, Food Safety, WHMIS. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without requiring employer work permit sponsorship.
