Position Summary The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. This role pays an hourly rate of $15.70 - $17.50 CAD and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching. This position will remain open until November 13, 2026. About The Venue The Temple Gardens Centre in Moose Jaw stands as southern Saskatchewan’s premier venue, encompassing 210,000 square feet of versatile space dedicated to community recreation and entertainment, boasting a 4500-seat arena, an 8-sheet curling rink with a two-tier lounge overlooking the ice, and meeting and conference spaces. Responsibilities Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction. Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge of all areas in the concessions operations. Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager . Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes. Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly. Check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages. Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system. Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
