We’re looking for a passionate Business Management Instructor who brings the real world of business to life in the classroom. This role blends teaching excellence, industry insight, and mentorship to prepare students for success in today’s dynamic cross industry business sectors. You will deliver engaging lessons in areas such as Leadership and Management, Strategic Marketing, Effective Communication, Canadian Money Management, Human Resources, and etc. Main Duties and Responsibilities Your mission: connect classroom learning to real-world industry practices, foster an inclusive environment, and help every student gain the confidence, skills, and mindset to thrive in their careers. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in business management topics. Integrate emerging industry trends, technologies, guest speakers, site visits, local partnership and case studies into learning experience. Develop curriculum materials, assessments, and lesson plans aligned with current industry standards. Support students in applying business concepts to real-life business contexts and guide them toward professional growth. Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and promote continuous improvement. Create a supportive and student-focused learning environment that cultivates diversity and equal opportunity. Work closely with colleagues and the Program Manager to enhance the quality, consistency, and impact of the program. Person Specifications Qualifications and Requirements Essential: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline and Two years full-time work experience in the business sector. OR 10+ years business management experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability or experience in teaching, training, or mentoring adult learners. Proficiency with teaching, learning, and hospitality technology stacks, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) – Moodle, Kahoot; Productivity tools – Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace; Industry systems – CRM, HRM, Financial and Accounting, Project Management, etc. Highly organized, reliable, and adaptable to evolving learning environments. Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and student success. Legally eligible to work in Canada and pass background checks. Desirable: Master’s degree in related discipline.
