We are looking for a passionate Hospitality Management Instructor who brings the real world of hospitality into the classroom. This role blends teaching excellence, industry insight, and mentorship to prepare students for success in today's dynamic hospitality sector. You will deliver engaging lessons in areas such as Hospitality Facilities Management, Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality Front Office Management, and Human Resources, among others. Your mission: connect classroom learning to real-world industry practice, foster an inclusive environment, and help every student build the confidence, skills, and mindset to thrive in a hospitality career. Main Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on hospitality and business management topics. Integrate emerging industry trends, technologies, guest speakers, site visits, local partnerships, and case studies into the learning experience. Develop curriculum materials, assessments, and lesson plans aligned with current industry standards. Support students in applying business concepts to real-world hospitality contexts and guide them toward professional growth. Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and promote continuous improvement. Create a supportive, student-focused learning environment that fosters diversity and equal opportunity. Work closely with colleagues and the Program Manager to strengthen the quality, consistency, and impact of the program. Qualifications and Requirements Essential: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline, plus two years of full-time work experience in the hospitality industry OR 10+ years of hospitality management experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability or experience teaching, training, or mentoring adult learners. Proficiency with teaching and hospitality technology, such as Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Kahoot), Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, and industry systems such as CRM, PMS, POS, and CRS. Highly organized, reliable, and adaptable to evolving learning environments. Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and student success. Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to pass a background check. Desirable: Master's degree in a related discipline. Additional experience teaching in hybrid or online learning environments.
