Job summary

A structured Bartender role is critical to assist all beverage staff in daily Food & Beverage operation of the River Cree Resort & Casino. Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the Bartender will be responsible to receive and prepare drink orders in an efficient and timely manner. Prepare drink orders. Open the bar with appropriate supplies. Receive money for drinks and give change back. Use of Micros. Clean the bar at the end of the night. Cash closing procedures Bartender for Centre Bar may be required to work in another Food & Beverage Outlet as directed by Management. To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace. All other duties as assigned Minimum 3 years high volume bartending experience AGLC - Proserve/Protect preferred Communication Skills good speaking and listening skills to understand that tasks are being asked of them and to deal with any concerns from guests. Physical Ability Many of the Bartenders tasks require him/her to carry loads up to 25lbs. During any expediting he/she must be able to move the load on a tray across the restaurant floor smoothly. Good with dealing with stressful situations Good health and personal hygiene. Has an interest in learning about food and beverage service. Has a cheerful, positive attitude. Able to work well in a team environment. The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays. Requirements

Requires a minimum of 3 years of high-volume bartending experience and a preference for AGLC Proserve/Protect certification. Candidates must be physically able to carry loads up to 25lbs and be available for shift work, including nights and holidays.
