We are currently seeking Clinical Instructors to join our Health Care Assistant (HCA) Program in Kamloops and Kelowna, British Columbia. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced health care professionals who are passionate about supporting and mentoring the next generation of health care providers. * Location: Long Term Care Facilities located in Kamloops and Kelowna * Employment Type: Contract * Compensation: $36.00-$57.00 * Schedule: November to December 2026 (150 hours). The dates can be flexible to support your availability. What You Will Do: * Provide Mentorship - You were once where the students are; share your insight on the industry, monitor their progress, provide on-going feedback and help support their learning. * Be a Liaison - Represent Stenberg College and uphold the ideals of our institutions There is a full curriculum for each course and a thorough orientation will take place prior to stepping into the clinical environments. Who You Are: * You have current full registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives * (BCCNM) as an LPN or RN and are in good standing * You have a demonstrated an ability to teach adult learners * Two or more years of full-time Canadian nursing experience as an LPN or RN * Experience in working with older adults with complex health needs; and * Experience or orientation in home support and multi-level/complex care * You have completed the Student Practice Education Core Orientation (SPECO) curriculum, and all courses are up to date. Requirements
Candidates must hold current registration with the BCCNM as an LPN or RN and possess at least two years of full-time Canadian nursing experience. Additionally, applicants must have experience working with older adults with complex health needs and have completed the Student Practice Education Core Orientation (SPECO) curriculum.
